I am a 20-year veteran of the GPS and telematics industry. My focus has been on internet of things (IoT) enabled asset management applications. I grew up in a small town of 850 people in Indiana. Growing up in the heart of the Midwest taught me that people make the biggest difference. Doing the right thing and keeping your promises are values I grew up with and they continue to define Gauge today.

I am a gritty South Side Chicago guy and have always been fascinated with building things and earth transformations, which may stem from my father being an architect.

When I was seven growing up in northern New Jersey, sewer lines were being installed in the street in front our house. After the workers left for the day, I would play on the big orange Koehring excavator.

In 2005ish, my dad was on the leading edge of integrating telematics into agriculture. He worked with several small companies to outfit his planter, sprayers, cultivators, and combine with ultra-accurate telemetry (sub-inch accuracy).

I grew up on a small farm in rural, southern Indiana, where I operated a variety of heavy machinery, as well as worked on small engines.
I was born an organizer though, so the detail and processes it takes to manage large-scale builds and fleet logistics has always impressed me! My day is a lot like herding cats. Each day I help balance the needs of our internal teams, customer requests and unexpected curveballs with our strategic vision and hours in the day to get it all done – along with speccing out future product development.
